Lego has no Military related sets in light of the fact that the inventor’s belief that war should not appear as it is something children should love playing with. To this black hole jumped in custom made toy manufacturers (like BrickArms) who 3d print weapons & accessories like M16, AK47, RPG and even have pink weapons collection (Summer 2012 Pink Weapons Pack). Lego has weapons in many different sets, but the weapons Lego manufactures are old (as in the Lego Castle set) or fantasy-oriented (as in the Star Wars set).

The great state of Arkansas (in the U.S) has adopted the South Arkansas Vine Ripe Pink Tomato as Arkansas’ official state fruit and… WAIT FOR IT…. also as Arkansas’ official state  vegetable,  it all went down on March 16, 1987 and was mentioned in Arkansas’ law:

“It is found and determined by the General Assembly that the South Arkansas Vine Ripe Pink Tomato has a taste, texture, appearance, and aroma second to none and that the tomato is botanically a fruit and used as a vegetable. It is further determined by the General Assembly that Arkansas does not have a state fruit or a state vegetable. Therefore, the South Arkansas Vine Ripe Pink Tomato shall be the official state fruit and the official state vegetable.”

*Botanically the tomato is definitely a fruit , but many see it as a vegetable none the less.

Plants strike back sometime. It all took place in a winter morning in 1982, Arizona, U.S.A.
Two friends went out to the desert with shotguns and began shooting at cacti (a.k.a Cactus plugging – a term that even appears in Wikipedia), after shooting a large Saguaro cactus from a very close distance , a 1.5 meter long part of the cactus fell on one of them, crushing him to death. Saguaros cacti are tall and can reach as high as 20 meters and.. well, can kille a man in self-defense.

The Bears “butt plug” (also known as “Tappen” or “Rectal Plug“) is made out of dense feces. In the past it was thought that bears got themselves ready for hibernation by consuming large amounts of indigestible plants and thus form a rectal plug that prevented them from eating. This was proven wrong but still being mentioned in the media due to lack of knowledge.

Wildlife Researchers from Minnesota found that most of the plug is intestinal secretions and cells that form during hibernation, which means that the plug actually forms in the intestine mostly during the several months of the hibernation period, the feces just stays there so long that the walls of the intestine suck all its fluids and making the plug dry and hard, the leaves and “indigestible plants” turned out to be all sorts of stuff that bear intake while grooming and licking their fur.

So… Why do they have this butt plug? Well, no one is entirely sure, it could help prevent bugs or ants from entering during hibernation, it could help to prevent defecation during hibernation, or maybe both.

Until a few years ago (2008) Casa Diablo – “The World’s First Vegan Strip Club” was just a vegan restaurant named “Pirate’s Tavern“. Johnny “Diablo” Zukle (the owner) stated he was amazed at how hard it was to get people to come and dine in a vegan restaurant, even in Portland, Oregon (which is widely known for being the most vegetarian-friendly city in America), Then again, there is one more thing which Portland is known for –  it is considered to have the highest number of strip clubs per capita (more than any other city in the U.S), Why not combine the two? Pirate’s Tavern became Casa Diablo – “The World’s First Vegan Strip Club“combining vegan food with naked women.
